How to carry out works?
Saar-Lor-Lux is an European region with a lot of similarities. However, it consists of three different countries - Germany, France and Luxemburg - which have different legislations.
In the age of globalisation and strategic partnerships, cross-border business is getting more and more an integral part of the corporate strategy of small and middle-sized companies. The three countries are not only popular trade partners, but also offer an interesting market for construction and installation works or other services. Especially companies near the border make use of the constant demand from neighbouring countries.
However, foreign companies who want to carry out works or perform other services in these three countries shall comply with some provisions of the industrial and fiscal law and even have to register in some cases. The following leaflets give some information about how to carry out works in Germany, Luxemburg and France as well as about turnover and income tax to be paid for these works. Furthermore, they give an overview of all required administrative steps if there is an obligation to register.
